After months of waiting, the Canadian Fighting Championship can finally announce their entire CFC 3 lineup.

Fans should be looking forward to an exciting main event fight between undefeated Heavyweight Rodrigo Munduruca and The Ultimate Fighter 2 alumnus Dan Christison. Munduruca will look to establish himself as Canada’s top Heavyweight fighter against Christison who lost a close fight to former UFC champion Frank Mir and defeated Brad Imes in the UFC cage. The most famous referee in the world, “Big” John McCarthy, will have his hands full with these two huge Heavyweights.

Claude Patrick is Canada’s top Welterweight not currently fighting in the UFC. Patrick has not lost a MMA fight since 2002 and sports a 9-1 record. On November 13, Patrick will face off against a top 170 lb Canadian prospect in the night’s co-main event. His opponent will be Dan “Big House” Grandmaison who fights out of Sudbury, Ontario.

Winnipeg fans can also anticipate the chance to cheer on their local favorites. Not only will Team Canada’s Rodrigo Munduruca be headlining the card, but five of his Winnipeg teammates will be joining him. Chris Stranger, Mark Durant, and Lance Cartwright will be returning to the ring to fight in front of their hometown audience, while Agostino DeNatale and Luis Cepeda-Javier are scheduled to make their promising mixed martial arts debuts.

Winnipeg’s Academy of Mixed Martial Arts will also be well represented at CFC 3. Lindsey Hawkes defeated Joseph Latour at CFC 1 and will look to build on that victory when he faces Kevin Manderson. Manderson previously submitted Hawkes in 2007 so Hawkes will be looking to avenge that earlier loss on his record. Other WAMMA fighters scheduled to appear include Dominick Blais, who is 1-1 in the CFC, and Roland Delorme, an undefeated 2-0 Bantamweight. Fan favorite Eric Perez, 2-0 in the CFC, will be sure to have the audience out of their chairs as he returns with his exciting brand of standup.
