WinnipegNightlife.Ca is excited to announce a brand new promotional campaign for 2010. Beginning in mid-January, be on the lookout around Winnipeg for business card sized coupons. On the front side will be the graphic shown above advertising WinnipegNightlife.Ca and on the backside will be a valuable coupon for a local nightclub or promotion company.

The first local nightclub to be featured in our “Free Cover Card” promotion is Republic Nightclub. For those who don’t know, Republic is located in Winnipeg’s historic Exchange District which is quickly becoming the closest thing Winnipeg has to a “Nightlife District”. After taking over the former Exchange Event Centre and opening to the public in early 2009, Republic has undoubtedly become one of Winnipeg’s top nightclubs and most recently voted “Winnipeg’s Best Overall Nightclub Of 2009″ in our 2009 WinnipegNightlife.Ca People’s Choice Awards.

Republic has kindly offered “Free Cover Charge Before 11PM (Excluding Special Events)”. This “Free Cover Card” is worth up to a $10 value! Please redeem the card at the door of the nightclub. Republic is 18+ on Fridays and Saturdays (an updated list of all Winnipeg Nightclub age restrictions can be viewed HERE).

i think this is a very good idea!!! i would love to get into a club for no cover. you definitely should try do this for Pure, best place in the city in my opinion. my only question is where exactly will these card be distributed? if possible you should fly over winnipeg in a helicopter and dump like 1000 or so over the city haha (just kidding but that would be funny)

The cards will be distributed at University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg, Red River College, Malls, MTS Centre etc. Pretty much places with a lot of people who would be interested in the promotion.

We are currently looking into other clubs to provide this offer with. Thanks for the suggestion of having Pure featured and if anyone else has any suggestions feel free to share them.
Republic is the best club to start this with, as their cover is normally a lousy $10.00. If I use one of these, I can say I didn’t pay that god-awful amount! Even if the coupon got me in for $5.00 it would still be good. I’ll be looking at other people’s windshields for these coupons to snatch one for myself, that’s for sure!
that is an awesome idea right there. maybe you and your friends could go around public places holding competitions between two strangers for a couple of those cards, seeing who can stand on one leg the longest etc etc or possibly something much more interesting than that. i know i would love a couple of those cards. good work pegcitynightlife!
