We regret making this decision, but factor in the lightning and gear….not safe. Plus the major deciding factor was this morning at 7am winds up to 100+kmhr ripped our camp apart and destroyed 3 of our tents, in the process getting most of our gear wet, and ruining both our cell phones … not a happy camper i am we will be releasing details for the make up date soon”

Although Manitoba lacks a true, full scale electronic music festival such as Shambhala (British Columbia), Motion Notion (Alberta) or Connect (Saskatchewan), some ambitious promoters have decided to throw a similar event in Portage La Prarie on Saturday, May 2010 now Saturday June 26th 2010.

Providing music to the event will be over 15 familiar faces in the Manitoba rave scene spinning a multitude of genres including Electro, Trance, Dubstep, Drum And Bass, and even some Breaks. Entrance to the event is incredibly reasonable at only $15 per person (or $45 per vehicle) considering patrons have the opportunity to see so many acts. This event is 16+ and will go on rain or shine.

In classic rave fashion, the exact location of the event (although it is stated that it is approximately 1 hour West of Winnipeg) will not be released until the day before it starts (be sure to check WinnipegNightlife.Ca for details or call the official party info line). There will be many amenities on site including portable washroom facilities & concessions as well as security and camping space for the safety of all partiers.
