Our mandate is to promote exploration of new sounds and sights through cutting edge technology and hands on participation. From June 17th to 20th 2010 join us in celebrating local and international talent in the world of digital creativity.

Featuring 4 days of music and events located in several unique indoor venues and Winnipeg’s newly redesigned outdoor venue: Old Market Square.

This will be a great opportunity to showcase to the masses a much more mature and established electronic music scene than what existed 10 years ago. The music is amazing right now but the technology and the way we all deliver the music is really the “breaking news” as far as cutting edge goes. We are going to be organizing day time workshops and clinics allowing people to be exposed to the technology and techniques that are used to make this wonderful music. At the same time the evening events will be full power off the hook parties with the finest in sound, lights and decor!

Even though this is still quite a ways away the time to get excited is now Winnipeg! This is without a doubt one of the most exciting announcements I have ever heard and I am sure there are tons of other people who feel the same way. I agree with the organizer above when he says that this will be a great opportunity for the Winnipeg Electronic Music Scene to showcase to everyone else how much the scene has evolved.

The event is being undertaken by many of the same people who are behind the wicked Symptom Technology parties so you can expect great music and stellar organization. I am already excited when I look at the quality of the headliners announced so far and can’t wait to see what kind of workshops and art features will be taking place as well.
