For those of you who have been foolish enough to not catch Steve Aoki before (he has been to Winnipeg 3 times  in the last couple years) don’t miss this show. Aoki never disappoints at his shows and by the end of the night, the crowd is always in an uproar. It is not only Aoki’s music that makes the show good but also his talent as a raw performer. During his performance, Aoki will jump into the crowd, tear off his clothes, pour vodka on the crowd and do anything in general to get people in the mood to party. You have to respect a performer who has the passion to put on a top rate show consistently, even when he is playing at a 300 person club in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Below I have included the information about the event. This will be the best $10 you can possibly spend on a night out in Winnipeg. Republic is also a great venue for such an event. The only downside, and it’s a big one, is that the date overlaps with Countryfest 2009. It may be worth it to skip the first night of Countryfest and head out to Dauphin Friday in order to catch the Aoki show.
